In my opinion banking systems in the 1920's did not have strict guidelines regarding the redemption loans. That being the case, banks were quick to give loans to those who hoped to earn money back by investing in stocks. However, when the stock market crashed due to economically unbalance persons borrowing money could not afford their debt. Consequentially, markets deteriorated due these hardships the banks were experiences. Agriculture based professions were not able to produce and demand was mislead. When participating in the stock market game I experienced the wealth my investment provided. Simply by responding to the needs and demands at that time period, i gained "free income" because of stocks. However, when the market crashed my wallet endured a great amount of pain. instead of making a profit; I was in debt $34,500. If this was a real life scenario, I would feel helpless. Doomed from lack of money, my life would become a struggle to live.
The lives of those living in this era changed dramatically. During the time period of the 20's economy was booming! The stock marketing business took off and everyone had jobs. Money was circulating the economy- life was great. Women rights were also acknowledged; they were granted the right to vote. The normality of motored vehicles increased, therefore mass production was introduced. The assembly line made it possible for cars to be created in large quantity. Social engagements also differed. It was now common to attend a production in the theater. Further, music varied- Radios in every house. Transportation sprouted; cars and airplanes were very popular. Entertainment evolved through television shoes such as Disney productions. Social events changed by providing dance events for the public to attend.
