SummaryDavid Lloyd George was the prime minister of Great Britain. He was often referred to as the "welsh wizard." Similarly to George Clemenceau, David also wanted Germany to pay reparations for the damage that they caused. David Lloyd George also hoped that Germany woud remain a strong trading partner with Britain. Another goal of his, was to expand the British Empire overseas. David wasn't as strong-headed as Clemenceau on how to make Germany pay but he wasn't as lenient as Wilson.
