Czechoslovakia, 1968SummaryIn 1968, Alexander Dubcek became the Secretary of Czechoslovakia. Czechoslovakia already had a democratic nation but when it gained the freedom of press, assembly worship and the right to strike Russia felt threatened. They were scared that it would spread to Romania. As a result troops from satellite states intervened. Dubcek arrested and relieved by Husak who followed the Russian line.
