The War Guilt Clause
Notes
"Perhaps the single greatest cause of World War 2 was born out of the Peace Treaty that ended World War 1: the War guilt clause"
|
SummaryThis clause was a documentary that stated Germany accepted responsibility for the war. This was Germany's least favourite part about the treaty. Because of the clause Germany had to pay reparations for the damage after the war. German forces were also limited to only 100,000 men. Air force and navy didn't exist. The 100,000 that were part of the army, worked as officers within the country. Because of the limitations on navy Germany wasn't able to fend the Rhineland and that was problematic because that's where their urban stores existed.
