The war see-sawed back and forth until finally South Korea was able to push North Korea back. There were turning point at Inchon Landings. The Chinese and the UN both got involved in the Korean War. The Chinese sent in a million troops to support the north and the UN had a peace keeping mission led by General MacCarthur.
